Switching something off used to explain only itself. Now you see which services stop being offered, which keep going with fewer people or resources, and which bookings are already in the diary β and a service that can't be booked right now leaves your booking page instead of showing an empty week.
Your Services list marks a service that isn't offered and says why, with a one-click way to switch its resource back on
A resource that a service needs and nothing else can't be deleted β switch it off instead
On the free plan, booking spots follow your setup as it is today, so switching someone or something off counts straight away
Switching a team member back on counts like adding one on the free plan
Booking spots in Settings β Billing no longer drop to zero when resources are switched off
Two new switches on every role. Manage billing lets someone other than the owner change the plan and the card and raise the monthly SMS cap. Send messages decides who may write to customers from Messages β everyone can, until you switch it off for a role.
Manage billing is off in every role until you turn it on; the owner always has it
Billing emails still go to the owner
Without Send messages, a team member still reads the conversations of customers they can see
A new add-on sends your customers an SMS as well as an email β the confirmation of an online booking, the reminder, a change or cancellation you make, a waiting-list offer, and messages you write. The add-on is free; SMS need a paid plan and are billed monthly with it, never more a month than your cap.
Switch it on per branch, and choose which SMS go out
Every automatic SMS is one SMS, in your booking page's language, with a link to the booking
In Messages, send by email, SMS or both, and see what the customer's phone will show
Billed on your plan's monthly invoice at a price per country β nothing to top up
A monthly cap, starting at your plan price and raisable up to three times it; warnings at 80% and at the cap
The settings show how many SMS your cap covers, and whether your last 30 days would have fitted
Not yet in Czechia β coming soon there
Customers can hide their phone from a business that sends SMS β the business still reaches them
Write to a customer from the calendar or their page and Bookodile sends it from your business β not from someone's own phone β even when they keep their email private. They reply on a page linked from the email, and every conversation lands in one inbox for your team.
A Message button in the calendar's customer panel and on each customer's page β or New message in Messages
One inbox for whoever is on shift: Open, Done and All, like Feedback, with Mark as unread
An unread count beside Messages in the sidebar, live β a dot on a phone
A customer answering a conversation marked Done brings it back to Open
Customers reply on a page β two messages each time you write β and can stop messages at any time
An email when a customer replies, to the people in that conversation and the owner
My Bookings has a Settings tab. Customers keep their name and phone up to date in one place, change the email they sign in with, and choose β business by business β whether their name and email are shared. Whatever a business requires is always shared, and the business sets that once for all its branches.
Name and phone saved once; every business they share them with sees the change
One card per business, branches listed under it, with a switch for name and email
What a business requires is locked on, and says so
Required details are set once for the whole business β by the owner, in Settings β Organization
Hide everything, everywhere, in one tap
Signed in, the booking page shows who they are β no retyping β and a Sign out to book for someone else
Not signed in? "Booked with us before? Sign in" on the details step β a code by email, or Google β and the chosen service and time stay picked
Agreed to your consent text before? The box becomes the date they agreed, until you change the text
A customer's first booking confirmation now asks them to confirm their email with one tap. Once they do, their card shows a Verified email mark, and the email and phone on it are the ones they keep up to date themselves β while the name your team uses for them stays yours.
One button in the first confirmation email; every booking they have made is then in My Bookings
A Verified email mark on the card, in the calendar panel and in the customer list
Your own name for a customer is kept, and only your team ever sees it
What your booking page requires is always shared; anything else shows as hidden, never as missing
A customer who deletes their account leaves their bookings, history and your notes in place
Customers cancelling from My Bookings inside your cancellation window now get the same late-cancellation question as on the booking's own page, instead of an error. And a sign-in link that has expired brings them back to My Bookings to sign in, rather than to a page about resetting a password they never had.
Late cancellation from My Bookings asks the customer to accept it, then cancels
An expired or used sign-in link returns to My Bookings with a short explanation
Consent is now recorded only when your booking page actually asked for it
A team member who signs in to Bookodile now changes their phone number on their own profile, once, and every business they work for sees the new one. On the team page their number is shown rather than edited, so an old number typed over theirs can no longer quietly win.
Your profile has a phone field; one change reaches every business you work for
On the team page, the number of someone who signs in is read-only, with a line saying why
The name a business shows on its booking page stays that business's to set
For team members who do not sign in, nothing changes: the business edits both
Three days before a trial ended, every business was told the same thing: βnothing is lost if you donβt β you go back to the free planβ. That is only true if you still fit inside the free plan. If you built past it during the trial β which is what the trial is for β online booking pauses instead, and now the warning says so.
Measured on the day, not assumed: the warning checks whether you are actually past a free limit
Starting the plan is what keeps everything running β a saved card does not, and never did
Documentation now says plainly when you are charged and when online booking stops
During a trial, a business with a card on file was told it was covered and that the plan would simply start when the trial ended. It would not: a saved card is stored, never charged on its own, and only you can start the plan. The page now says so, and gives you the button to do it.
A saved card holds nothing back and starts nothing β it only makes starting the plan one click
The trial card now offers to start the plan instead of only linking to your payment settings
The documentation gained two sections that answer it outright: when you are charged, and when online booking stops
The pricing page has always said Free covers two. It did not: you could add a third, a fifth, a tenth and stay on Free for ever. It is enforced now β and it counts the right thing. You can always add the person; what counts is giving them a service, because a service nobody is assigned to is performed by nobody.
Reception, trainees and anyone assigned to no service are free and never counted
Take somebody off a service to make room β the count follows who can actually be booked
A service with nobody assigned is no longer offered on your booking page: it means nobody, not anyone
Start your 14 free days from the message and the person is added straight after β no card, nothing charged
On the paid plan nothing changes: you still pay per booking spot, your bottleneck, so five staff sharing one chair are one spot
Deactivate sits next to Revoke access, and there was no way to tell them apart without pressing one. There is now an β beside both the button on a team member's page and the Active switch in Settings, saying exactly what changes: they come off your booking page, bookings already made stay, their sign-in stops working, and nothing is deleted.
The confirmation box used to leave out that deactivating takes their sign-in away. It says so now.
While a billing notice was showing at the top of the page, every form β a team member, a service, anything in Settings β lost its Save and Cancel buttons off the bottom of the screen, and the page would not scroll far enough to reach them. The notice took up room the form had already counted as its own. Both are fixed: the buttons stay on the bottom edge and the page scrolls normally.
Your bill is now worked out from the booking spots that actually took a booking, recounted every month. Hire someone and the next bill includes them; have a quiet month, or lose someone, and it comes down on its own. There is nothing to tell us and nothing to switch on.
The count is taken over the month that has just finished, so you are never charged ahead for spots you have not used yet.
Your month runs from the day you subscribed β subscribe on the 19th and every month runs the 19th to the 19th.
Each invoice names the exact dates it covers.
Nothing changes about what a booking spot is, or what one costs.
Every other settings screen asks before you navigate away from unsaved changes. The page for a room, chair or machine did not β rename it, change its capacity or its hours, click away, and the edits were gone without a word. It now asks, the same way the rest of Settings does.
Until now every room, chair or machine was open to anyone who performs the services that need it β fine when they are interchangeable, wrong when one of them belongs to somebody. Each resource can now be kept for named people: nobody else is ever booked into it, including people you add later. Whoever has one of their own is sent there first, so the shared ones stay free for everybody else. Each team member's page says where they work, and each service now shows who can be booked for it, where, and how many of it can run at the same time.
Confirming a waiting-list offer checked that the team member was still free, but not the room, chair or machine the service needs β so a confirmation could take a room somebody else already had. It now takes a free one and says the time has gone when there isn't one, instead of booking something that cannot happen.
Opening a booking from the bookings list, the dashboard, a customer's profile or the payments screen showed no room or equipment to pick, or left out the ones a service inherits from its category. Only the calendar showed all of them. Every screen now offers the same list, so a booking keeps the room it needs whichever screen you edit it from.
A booking page written in Slovak, Czech or Vietnamese was telling the browser it was in English. Chrome on a phone then offered to translate it, and accepting that offer could replace the booking steps with an error message β trying again just hit the same thing. Every booking page now states the language it is actually written in, so the offer no longer appears and the page keeps working.
When our email provider refuses an email β a mistyped address, for example β the notifications list now marks it as an error instead of showing it as sent. You can see which customers did not get their confirmation, reminder or cancellation and let them know yourself.
From 10 August almost no reminder emails were sent: customers booked, but were not reminded the day before or two hours before. Reminders now go out for every booking again, at the times set in your booking settings.
Switch on the Leaderboard add-on and everyone who takes bookings competes each month on bookings β or on revenue, with a winner for each team member category. The winners are announced to the whole team on the 1st and kept in a Hall of fame.
Works with one switch: most bookings, everyone who takes bookings, every service
Add a revenue competition with a winner per category, or leave out services someone else usually does
A live podium all month, with who moved up this week
An email with the results on the 1st, including for team members who never sign in
Revenue amounts stay hidden from the team unless you choose to show them
Customers who reach your booking page from a button on your own website can now get back to it. Add a link in Design & Branding, and tapping your logo at the top of the page takes them there β or your name, if you have no logo.
Any web address: your home page, the page your Book now button is on, or a social profile
Works without a logo too β your business name becomes the link
Also on the confirmation screen, and on your reviews, events and waiting-list pages
Leave it empty and nothing changes
Not added inside the embedded widget, which is already on your website
Edit a booking and close it by accident β the β, Escape or a click outside β and the dialog now asks whether to save, listing exactly what would be lost. The footer says so too, the whole time you are editing.
An "Unsaved changes" marker beside Close, counting how many fields you have changed
Closing with changes offers Save, Discard, or keep editing β and names every change
While you look at other days, the day the booking is actually on stays marked, with its time
Off to another week? A button beside Today takes you straight back to when it is booked
The booking's own start time keeps its mark, so you can always put it back
The booking dialog no longer asks you to type a date and time blind. It shows the week, marks how free each day is and offers the start times that fit β and any start can still be set to the minute.
A week at a time, Monday to Sunday: swipe or use the arrows, with the month beside it and today circled
Each day shows how many start times fit, or Full, Off or Closed
Start times that fit the team member's hours, time off and other bookings, grouped into morning, afternoon and evening
Exact time: type any start, or nudge it a minute or five, and see what it clashes with before you save
The same picker in Move visit, and the dialog no longer jumps when you switch between a customer's bookings
Several services in one booking: add them all first, then pick the time β the start times offered fit all of them
The documentation and the comparison pages now have search. It finds the section that answers your question β a setting, a limit, one line of a comparison β and opens the page right there.
Open it from the search button, or press βK, Ctrl K or / on any documentation or comparison page
Everyday words work: βstaffβ finds team members, βappointmentβ finds bookings, βcancellation feeβ finds late cancellation
Each result opens at its own section instead of the top of a long page
Add another booking tool's name to see how it compares on that one point
When a customer books several services β with one team member or several β you can now move or cancel the whole visit from the booking details. It offers only the times that fit everyone in it, and every service moves together.
Move visit offers the days and start times where every service fits: each team member's hours, time off and other bookings, and any room or equipment
Change who does a service and the times update; each service keeps its length and order
Type any other time and see exactly what it clashes with before anything moves
The customer can get one email with every service's new time, and each team member hears about their own part
In the calendar, every service of a visit is marked with its place in it, like 2/3. Drag any of them and the whole visit moves with it; drop it in another team member's column to hand over just that service
Cancel asks whether you mean one service or the whole visit, and says what will happen first
A booking moved after its reminder went out now gets a reminder for its new time
A service is offered only while at least one of the resources it can use is active. Switching off the only room or piece of equipment a service needs used to do the opposite β the service stayed bookable with no limit at all. It now shows no times until the resource is back on. The calendar's conflict warning also respects a resource's capacity, instead of warning at the first booking on it.
A service whose every resource is switched off shows no times on the booking page, on any day
A service that can use several resources keeps running on the ones still active
A combo shows no times while the resource any one of its stages uses is switched off
The booking page no longer accepts a booking for such a service with no resource behind it
The calendar only warns about a resource conflict once the resource is actually full β a resource that holds eight bookings at once no longer warns on the second
The wording on the resource's Active switch now says what it does
The documentation now has a reference page for each thing you configure β a service, a room or chair, your booking rules β listing every field, what it changes, and what happens when you leave it empty. There is also a single page covering everything Bookodile does, for when you want the whole picture at once.
Every setting on a service: the four pricing models, per-person prices and durations, buffers, combos and add-ons
Every setting on a room, chair or piece of equipment, including how capacity decides what you pay
All seventeen booking rules in one place, and which three apply only on your booking page
Worked examples throughout, so you can see the same setting used by different kinds of business
Corrections to three existing pages that described the product slightly wrong
Your booking page is now listed with search engines, so it can come up when somebody searches for your business by name β with your own description underneath it. It is on from the start, and one switch in Booking page settings takes it back out.
Every booking page is included in our sitemap, so search engines know it exists instead of having to find a link
Your business name leads the result, and your own description is what appears under it
Your address and phone number are attached to the page in a form search engines read
Settings β Booking page β Search engines turns the listing off; anyone with your link can still book
Pages in Slovak, Czech and Vietnamese now appear in that language rather than in English
Fourteen comparison pages β Fresha, Booksy, Vagaro, Square Appointments, Mindbody, Bookio and more β feature by feature and price by price. Every claim about the other product comes from its own published pages and carries the date it was checked, and each page says plainly where the other tool is stronger.
Forty-three rows per comparison: pricing, taking bookings, what customers see, running the business
Their prices as published, with the date seen; ours computed from the live pricing, never retyped
An honest section on where the other product is better, so you can decide with the whole picture
Every page is also published as plain text, so AI assistants answer βBookodile or X?β from the same facts
Settings β Billing showed a red βPausedβ badge and the words βyour booking page is closed to customersβ whenever you passed any free-plan limit β including the booking-spot one, which has never closed anything. It now says what is actually happening: your page is open, nothing is due, and here is what the plan would cost.
Only the monthly booking limit can pause online booking, and only once your 14 free days have been used
The page no longer tells you your free fortnight is spent when it is still sitting there unused
Passing the booking-spot limit now shows what the plan would cost instead of a button to reopen something that never closed
Booking spots are counted per month, so the page now says so β the count starts again on the 1st
Adding the person who takes you past the free plan's booking spots used to happen in silence, and the first you heard of it was a banner weeks later. You now see what it means before you save β the rate where you are, and that a spot nobody books costs nothing.
Nothing is refused: the person is added the moment you say so
Shows how many booking spots your setup holds now, and what it becomes
Only appears on the free plan, and only for someone new
Until now the only way to find out exactly how something behaved was to try it. There are now sixteen articles covering how booking works, what decides which times customers are offered, your team, money and every add-on β written as reference rather than as a sales pitch.
Every article says what the feature does NOT do, not only what it does
Each page carries the date it was last checked against the product, so you can see how current it is
Worked examples with real numbers, including why a day can show no available times
Readable in light or dark, and every page is also published as plain text so AI assistants answer questions about Bookodile correctly
Your team used to appear in whatever order they were added, so a founder could sit fifth behind four juniors. Drag people into the order you want and the booking page, the calendar and every place you pick a person follow it.
Drag on the Employees page, in Settings β Members, or in Booking page settings β all three set the same order
Someone new joins at the end of the list, never at the top
People who are switched off or don't take bookings keep their place in your list without appearing to customers
When price or duration differ per person, both now sit together on the right of each name, so a customer reads them in one glance
Most logos already have the business name written into them, so printing the name again next to it said the same thing twice. Your booking page now shows the logo on its own, and a switch in Design & Branding puts the name back if you want it.
A switch under your logo in Design & Branding β off to begin with, because most logos are wordmarks
Turn it on if your logo is a wordless symbol, and your name and address appear beside it
The preview shows the result while you choose, so you see it before your customers do
Only the text next to the logo is affected β your name still appears in confirmations, emails and search results
Opening your dashboard from somewhere in a different time zone drew every appointment on your own computer's clock instead of the shop's β a 10:00 booking at an Irish branch showed as 11:00 from Slovakia. The calendar now reads the branch's own local time wherever you happen to be.
Day, week and month views, the booking window, the hover preview and the customer and team screens all use the branch's clock
Drag a booking to a new time and it lands on the time you dropped it on, whatever clock you are reading
Switch between branches in different countries and each one shows its own local hours
Nothing changes if you are in the same place as your shop β this was only ever visible from across a border
The same service can now take a different amount of time depending on who does it β someone new, someone in training, or anyone who simply works at their own pace. Whoever the customer picks, the booking page reserves the time that person actually needs.
Set a duration per person on a service, the same way you already set a price per person
Leave anyone's box blank and they keep the service's normal duration β you only fill in the people who differ
Customers see β30 min+β on the service list, then each person's real time when they choose who serves them
Pick βAnyoneβ and the times offered are the ones somebody can actually finish, not a guess
You can also show your employee categories next to each name on your booking page, if you want customers to see them
Your booking page now follows the light or dark setting the customer's phone is already on. Most people have their phone on dark in the evening, and that is exactly when they get round to booking β so instead of a white page burning a hole in a dark room, they get one that fits.
Follows the customer's own light or dark setting, with a sun/moon button at the top if they want the other one
Your accent colour is adjusted so it stays readable on a dark background β dark brand colours no longer disappear
You can upload a second version of your logo for dark screens; without one we keep your usual logo readable ourselves
The preview in Design & Branding now shows both, so you can see the dark version before anyone else does
Nothing to switch on, and nothing changes about how your page looks in daylight
If you work on your own, every service you offer is now recorded against you by name. So the day you add your first team member, they start with nothing on their list instead of quietly appearing on your booking page for everything you do.
A one-person business's services are assigned to you automatically β there is nothing to set up
Add someone to the team and your services stay with you until you hand one over
Bookings taken while you work alone now carry your name, so they show up properly in your calendar and reports
